Bosses at Oprah Winfrey's TV network OWN have dismissed rumors that the beloved media queen is moving her talk show to the new channel when her current program ends in 2011.

Winfrey announced the end of The Oprah Winfrey Show in an emotional televised farewell last month.

Reports suggested that the show would simply be transferred to OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network, which is also projected to launch in 2011.

Winfrey has so far refused to confirm or deny those rumors, but OWN executives have spoken out to clear up the reports, insisting The Oprah Winfrey Show will not be making a cable comeback.

Network CEO Christina Norman tells USA Today, "Her show as you know it is not coming to OWN. She's going to have a significant presence on this network, but won't be doing a cable version of Oprah."

Winfrey will, however, narrate a profile series called Master Class on the forthcoming cable network.
