UPDATE: Harrelson has actually
replaced
Rourke, who
recently left the film
because "[t]he director was a jerkoff. He wanted a whole lot for nothing."
EARLIER:
Woody Harrelson
has signed up for
Martin McDonagh
's 2012 crime comedy
Seven Psychopaths
.
The
In Bruges
director's film, about a struggling screenwriter who finds inspiration from the oddest situation, also stars
Colin Farrell
,
Sam Rockwell
and
Mickey Rourke
, who
recently opted out
of the
Expendables
sequel to star in
Psychopaths
. Additionally, singer Tom Waits and onetime Bond girl Olga Kurylenko joined the cast on Wednesday.
Harrelson, currently enjoying quite the career resurgence, will next appear in the buzzy drama
Rampart
, followed by

and others next year.
