HOLLYWOOD - Wrestling superstar Chris Benoit, his wife Nancy, and 7-year-old son Daniel have all been found dead at their Atlanta, Ga., home.
The grim discovery was made by police on Monday afternoon. Atlanta authorities are investigating the deaths and considering a murder-suicide, with the possibility Benoit killed his wife and child and then killed himself. They have refused to reveal the cause of the deaths, only to confirm the family members were not shot.
The 40-year-old former World Heavyweight Champion--whose trademark move was the Crippler Crossface--had been due to perform at a World Wrestling Entertainment event on Monday night. His absence was blamed on a "family emergency."
Police are investigating the deaths. Tuesday night's edition of WWE Raw will serve as a tribute to Benoit.
