Zombie: ‘Now Is the Time’ for ‘Werewolf Women of the SS’

Could the success of Inglourious Basterds herald a new era of highly fictionalized, history–altering World War II flicks? If so, the timing may never be better for a full-length version of Werewolf Women of the SS, Halloween director Rob Zombie’s contribution to the fake trailers portion of 2007’s Grindhouse.
In an exclusive interview with Zombie earlier this week, we asked him about the prospects for a feature-length Werewolf Women movie. Here’s what he had to say:
Time travel? Nazis? Hot werewolves? Why hasn’t this film been greenlighted yet? Bet Nicolas Cage would be up for the project — it's not half as bizarre as Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans.
