With around $346.8 million already in the international bank vault through last Thursday, Skyfall by the end of the weekend could be flirting with (dare we say?!) a $500 million worldwide gross!
Here is the official word from Sony Pictures: Sony Pictures, MGM and EON Productions had a phenomenal first day of wide release on Skyfall as the 23rd James Bond adventure took in $30.8 million on Friday in North America. That estimate includes midnight shows. With the additional $2.2 million from special exclusive preview runs at 463 Imax and plf locations on Thursday, we are up to $33 m.
