Tennis star Anna Kournikova is denying rumors that she will become the newest "Bond bombshell."
Britain's Daily Express reported Monday that Kournikova was talking with producers about starring in the next James Bond film.
Although Kournikova has had previous onscreen experience as a motel manager in Me, Myself and Irene, she laughed as she told Reuters that she "only learned about this [recently] on the Internet" and "right now I'm just happy I'm healthy."
Kournikova began the tennis season ranked eighth in the world but slid to 24th place after a foot injury took her out of the tour for nine months. She has spent her time since then making personal appearances for sponsors and starring in a fitness video, Reuters reports.
Nonetheless, the 20-year-old beauty says she'll have to get back in shape before she can be a Bond girl. "Bond girls, I think you have to do a lot of tough things," she said, "and I don't think I'm physically ready for that."
