Clint Eastwood is to be honoured with the James Smithsonian Bicentennial Medal as part of the opening of the new Warner Brothers Theater at the National Museum of American History in Washington, D.C. The movie legend will be presented with the accolade to mark his contribution to "the American experience through film" on Wednesday (01Feb12). The medal recognises Eastwood's six decades of "captivating national and international audiences through his work as an award-winning actor and director".
