British actor Mackenzie Crook has been shortlisted for this year's (12) Waterstones Children's Book Prize in the U.K. for his writing debut. The Pirates of the Caribbean star received the nomination in the five to 12-year-old category for The Windvale Sprites, which he also illustrated. The winner will be announced next month (Mar12).
