The Iron Man star’s spouse Michelle Ghent filed divorce papers in February, 2011, just weeks after they celebrated their first wedding anniversary and she was granted a protective order against Howard in December (11) after claiming he hurt her during their short marriage.
And on Tuesday (21Feb12), a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge ordered the actor to cut his former lover the hefty cheque to cover the cost of her daily living until the pair can come to a more permanent agreement.
According to TMZ.com, the actor has 30 days to make the payment.

They are due back in court in April (12).
