Hendricks alerts authorities to phone hacking

Mar 05, 2012 | 4:00am EST

The Mad Men star found herself at the centre of a saucy picture scandal on Sunday (04Mar12) when a photo which appears to show the actress topless emerged online.

Her representative moved swiftly to brand the image a fake, but revealed that Hendricks' phone had been improperly accessed recently and several shots, including a snap of the redhead barely dressed, were stolen.

The rep tells, "Christina's phone was in fact hacked and photos were stolen. The proper authorities have been contacted in hopes of rectifying this situation. The topless image is fake and not an image of Christina."

Hendricks' photo scandal came hours after shots purportedly showing fellow actress Olivia Munn in a state of undress hit the web, but the brunette beauty has since taken to her page to brush off the rumours.

In a post, she writes, "If you ever hacked my phone, these are the pictures you'd find" - before linking to a picture of a chubby baby and a kitten.
