Bomer will play big shot actor Cooper, the older sibling of gay high school student Blaine Anderson.

And the former Chuck star is sure to shock fans by debuting his little-heard singing skills - the pair is set to perform a musical mash-up of classics from '80s rock band Duran Duran, according to Eonline.com.

Bomer, who recently 'came out' as a gay man, has become the latest celebrity to land a guest role on the popular comedy series - Latin singer Ricky Martin, actress Gwyneth Paltrow, and funnyman Neil Patrick Harris have all previously starred in the Golden Globe Award-winning programme.
