Actress Zsa Zsa Gabor has won a $2 million settlement from her former hairdresser after almost dying in a car accident, while he was at the wheel.

Gabor, 87, is still partially paralyzed after Jarren Millard (corr) drove her Rolls Royce into a post during a shopping trip with the ageing former beauty queen in 2002.

Gabor, who was unconscious at the scene of the accident and slipped into a coma, suffered multiple injuries, including broken bones and has been wheelchair-bound ever since.

In her lawsuit, the actress sought damages for her medical expenses, and her pain and suffering.

Her husband Frederic Prinz Von Anhalt (corr) also sued Millard, seeking damages for loss of consortium and companionship of his wife of 18 years, due to her injuries.

The trial into the matter was scheduled to commence Mar. 7.
