Christopher Reeve's widow Dana has come up with a novel way of paying tribute to her late husband--launching a new range of Superman dog tags.

The tags, engraved with the Superman 'S' logo, are being sold off next week across America to raise funds for the Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation.

Dana Reeve persuaded studio bosses at Warner Bros Entertainment and DC Comics editors, who own the Superman franchise, to waive costs and fees, so that all proceeds can go directly to the charity her husband created before his death last year.

All the tags feature the inspiring inscription 'Go forward,' which was one of Superman star Reeve's sayings as he battled daily after a fall from a horse left him paralyzed in 1995.

Dana says, "Christopher believed that to overcome any adversity, no matter how challenging, you need to Go Forward each day with strength, determination and compassion.

"This is a wonderful way for people to pay personal tribute to Chris' incredible legacy, while at the same time joining our mission."

The Superman Tags come as a set of two--one on a neck chain and one on a clip for belts, purses, keys, or backpacks. They are available online at ChristopherReeve.org.
