Arquette, 37, and 36-year-old Jane, who have a two-year-old daughter named Harlow together, have been engaged since the summer of 2002, and had even planned to walk down the aisle in the autumn of last year.
But True Romance star Arquette is thrilled to announce that she's now working towards a solid date for the nuptials.
She says, "We haven't set an exact date, but it's probably going to be next summer."
While Arquette irons out her plans, the one thing she is certain of is that she wants her nuptials to be low-key.
She adds, "I have friends in all economic brackets and I don't want to isolate people."
