The Man has stopped hassling Whitney Houston's man -- for now. The entertainer's husband, ex-New Edition sensation Bobby Brown, was released from a Pompano Beach, Florida, jail today, ending a two-month stay in the cooler for drug-related parole violations.
The release of the oft-busted Brown came 10 days ahead of schedule as he got time lopped off for good behavior. (Go figure.)
Per the Associated Press, the happy reunion of Brown and Houston went like this: He bounded out of the North Broward Detention Center, hugged Chris Rock -- yes, that Chris Rock -- and then headed for his wife's white stretch limo. (Rock was there holding a vigil -- a bit for his HBO show.)
"It's beautiful out here," the 33-year-old Brown told Rock (and assorted onlookers). "I just want to be with my family and my friends. I'm going home to spend the summer with my kids and work on my life."
