"Star Wars" geeks can rejoice.
Lucasfilm has agreed to a deal with Netcaster AtomFilms.com that would allow fans of all things "Star Wars" to put up their unofficial spoofs on an official home on the Internet, Variety reports.
And there's more reason to rejoice. Not only will your spoofs be on AtomFilm's site, they'll even split any royalty payments or sponsorships generated from the films.
Currently, AtomFilms.com is accepting submissions, after which a team of Lucasfilm judges will vote on the best shorts to be placed online. The idea to create an official site, which will launch next month, was hatched after rumors about the storyline began circulating on the Internet about "Star Wars: Episode I -- The Phantom Menace."
