Madonna Conquers Guy, Web

Is Guy Ritchie really going to make an honest woman out of Madonna?

That's what the rumor mills are saying at least.

The British tabloid "The Sun" says today that the Queen of Music is reportedly planning a wedding extravaganza, budgeted at $1.6 million, at the Dornoch Cathedral in Scotland for Dec. 22, with a post-matrimonial shindig at the neighboring Skibo Castle.

And while they're at the holy site, the couple reportedly might also christen their 4-month-old offspring Rocco at the ceremony, so the tab says.

Skibo Castle has been a favorite spot for celebrity weddings, with patrons such as actors Ewan McGregor and Robert Carlyle. The picturesque location was also rumored to be the wedding ground for Hollywood power couple Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, who, of course, wed in New York instead.

Thus far, the castle's handlers have denied reports of the secret ceremony, telling Reuters that no wedding has been booked at the club.

Our calls to Madonna's publicist, Liz Rosenberg, regarding the report have yet to be returned.

The world sits in waiting.

And while you wait, we'll give you this non-marriage-related Madonna news to chew on.

The "Music" maker's first British concert in seven years has set a new webcast world record Tuesday night.

The invite-only gig, which was simultaneously broadcast via the Web, drew in more than 9 million online users worldwide, easily beating the record set by Paul McCartney last year at The Cavern in Liverpool, England.

Among the celebs treated to the 30-minute-long performance by Madonna were Mick Jagger, Kylie Minogue and Sting.
