AOL TW Letting Go of 2,000

The ax is coming down at AOL Time Warner.

The newly merged company is letting go of more than 2,000 employees in an effort to be more efficient, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Management reportedly wanted to cut back as much as 20 percent in some areas of the company. The cuts, expected to be announced today, are believed to be the biggest in the history of Time Warner or any other corporate predecessor.
