Jennifer Lopez, who's known for wearing next to nothing, has recently signed a deal to create a clothing line.
Hollywood's favorite fashion plate reportedly will be designing for Music Entertainment Fashion, Inc., a new company owned by Andy Hilfiger, the younger brother of popular designer Tommy Hilfiger. Lopez's spokesman, Paul Wilmot, and Andy Hilfiger were not available for comment.
Lopez has dominated entertainment news recently, laying claim to a successful movie, "The Wedding Planner," and a chart-topping album "J.Lo." She's also been in the eye of the media storm surrounding music mogul and ex-boyfriend Sean "Puffy" Combs, who is currently in the courtroom over a December 1999 shooting in a New York nightclub.
Lopez is fondly remembered in the fashion world for her 2000 Grammy dress, a skimpy little number that topped headlines and dropped jaws all over the world. The designing diva seems to be following in the fashionable footsteps of Combs, who designs his own line of menswear under the label Sean John.
