The two actors became the world's biggest actions stars in the 1980s and they are back on screen together in new movie The Expendables 2, which has been released at a poignant time for Stallone following the loss of his son, Sage, last month (Jul12).
Schwarzenegger has now revealed he is supporting his pal the best he can and praises friends and family for helping Stallone through the testing time.
He tells U.S. news show Entertainment Tonight, "He is going through a tough time and I think the important thing is that he has the support that he needs and that he has a great family; he has wonderful children and a wonderful wife. He has wonderful friends around him, so we all supported him... It's a very difficult time for him but he's going to pull through it."
Sage Stallone, 36, was found dead in his Hollywood Hills apartment on 13 July (12) and the tragedy forced the Rocky star to pull out of a number of promotional commitments for The Expendables 2.
