The Country Strong star wanted to go to college to study journalism before he landed his first major role in 2004 blockbuster Troy, but he didn't feel the need to pursue his academic career after completing the shoot.
He tells The Hollywood Reporter, "I wanted to go to college for journalism, but after I finished doing my first film, I felt like I'd spent four years in college just from getting to see the world."
