The Star Trek star opened up about his sexuality last year (11) and he has since been linked to Glee hunk Groff.
The pair has been snapped spending time together in Los Angeles over the summer (12) and now Quinto has offered a small insight into their relationship in an interview with gay and lesbian lifestyle publication Out.
Commenting on his life with Groff, he simply says, "I'm incredibly happy, I'm incredibly lucky."
Quinto reveals his new relationship has been vastly different from his past loves and suggests his newfound happiness is partly down to regular therapy sessions.
He explains, "I found myself in a pattern of being attracted to people who were somehow unavailable, and what I realised was that I was protecting myself because I equated the idea of connection and love with trauma and death.
"I had to do a lot of work on the couch to really get to a place where I was able to show up to a relationship with someone who was actually capable of being in one - and that took a lot of trial and error."
Now Quinto is looking to the future and he is keen to have a family of his own one day.
He adds, "I definitely want kids. I want to share."
