The Dragons' Den star, who runs The Bannatyne Group club and hotel chain, was admitted to hospital in Darlington, England on Monday morning (01Oct12) following reports the 63 year old had suffered a heart attack.
His condition is reportedly stable.
Bannatyne has been a regular on entrepreneurial show Dragons' Den since the programme launched in 2005.
