May Eye pleased

CBS last week continued to dominate the May ratings sweeps, helped by its new police drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and the hit comedy Everybody Loves Raymond, each of which finished in the Nielsen top 10. A Survivor epilogue, Back from the Outback, tied with the network's Judging Amy for 13th. CBS averaged an 8.4 rating and a 14 share for the week. NBC was second with a 7.9/14, followed by ABC with a 7.8/14. Fox finished fourth with a 5.4/9.

The top 10 shows of the week according to Nielsen Research:

1. E.R., NBC, 16.0/26; 2. The Practice, ABC, 13.9/24; 3. Law and Order, NBC, 13.2/21; 4. CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CBS, 12.3/19; 5. Everybody Loves Raymond, CBS, 12.1/19; 6. West Wing, NBC, 12.0/18; 7. Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, ABC, 11.9/20; 8. Millionaire, ABC, 11.8/19; 9. Friends, NBC, 11.4/21; 10. Millionaire, ABC, 11.1/17.
