The former That '70s Show star was taken into custody in Mooresville, North Carolina following a domestic disturbance with her husband Robert Joseph Gilliam, who was also arrested during the altercation.
The actress was charged with a misdemeanour, while her 61-year-old partner was hit with one count of assault on a female.
Both have since been released on $500 (£313) bond, reports the Associated Press.
They are due back in court on 25 January (13).
This is Kelly's second arrest in a year - she was busted on suspicion of spousal abuse in March (12) but the charges against her were dropped.
