"Inside" editor in chief quits

The editor in chief of the struggling online media news site, Inside.com, resigned Tuesday to join the VH1 channel as senior vice president for news and production. In an inhouse memo, Steven Brill, the Court TV founder whose Brill Media company acquired Inside.com earlier this year, said of the departing Michael Hirschorn: "I'll miss him, and we all owe him a great debt for what he's built." Brill said that he is replacing Hirschorn with David Kuhn, editor in chief of Brill's Content magazine, who presumably will now oversee both publications.
