Although the BBC has asked independent producers to include proposals for interactive elements in new shows they pitch to the corporation, the Dutch entertainment giant Endemol says it has no intention of doing so. Bazalgette acknowledged that it may be difficult for producers to avoid surrendering interactive rights to the BBC. "BBC Online is completely massive," he said.
