Pamela Anderson to enrol in therapy

Jan 07, 2013 | 12:15pm EST

The former Baywatch star admits she has endured a tough couple of years as she has been working "non-stop" and attempting to finish renovations on her California home, while she has also fallen behind on her taxes.

Anderson admits she hasn't seen a therapist in a long time, but she wants to sign up for more sessions soon to help sort her life out.

She tells Britain's The Sun newspaper, "I haven't been (to therapy) in a long time. I probably should go back. I've been working non-stop, digging myself out of a construction hole. The house just enveloped me financially and I didn't know how to handle it. It happens to a lot of people in Hollywood."

The actress reveals she enjoyed her previous sessions because her therapist became a close friend. She adds, "My therapist was eccentric and old. I love seeing him and talking. We became friends - but I was paying for it... In fact, he actually told me more about his life than I told him about mine."

Anderson even considered taking a role in an upcoming TV sitcom, playing a psychologist: "I've considered a role in a show called Package Deal. I (would) actually play a therapist, which is funny."
