Robert De Niro is to be honoured at the Los Angeles-Italia Film, Fashion and Art Festival on the eve of the Oscars next month (Feb13). De Niro, who earned his first Oscar nomination in more than 20 years for his work in David O. Russell's Silver Linings Playbook last week (10Jan13), will be feted after a special screening of Sergio Leone's 1984 movie classic Once Upon a Time in America, which featured the actor.
