The Brokeback Mountain star was found dead in his New York apartment on 22 January, 2008 following a prescription drug overdose, leaving behind a daughter, Matilda, with his former girlfriend Michelle Williams.
Lohan, who was once romantically linked to Ledger, took to her Twitter.com page on Tuesday (22Jan13) to remember his passing.
She tweeted, "RIP HL (Heath Ledger) forever in mine and 'Matty's' (Matilda's) hearts... xx L."
