The U.S. show premiered last year (12) and was promptly picked up for a second season by bosses at the ABC network.
However, it has since been dropped from the channel's schedule due to falling ratings.
Confirming the news in a post on Twitter.com, Ritter writes, "my beloved fans, sad to confirm that it is true. Don't Trust the B--- #apt23 has been cancelled. thank you so much for your support i love u (sic)."
