The veteran action man didn't want to grow a beard or take on a new personality for his role as James Bonomo in the new film, so he persuaded director Walter Hill to let him play it straight - as the real Sly Stallone.
He explains, "It's really me... I said, 'Let me just be my horrible self,' and there I am... If you think I'm a rotten guy, that's for real."
