Dame Judi Dench treated a young fan to a VIP meeting after learning the teen had dislocated both her knees racing to meet her acting idol. Katherine Dodds injured herself waiting for Dench outside the Noel Coward Theatre in London's West End after a performance of Peter And Alice last week (06Apr13). She explains, "We were waiting after the show to get an autograph. I was at the stage door when someone said Dame Judi was coming out the front. While making my way round I fell and was in absolute agony. A lot of people came to my aid, including theatre staff, who were very kind and invited me to return to meet Dame Judi the next day." The 16-year-old aspiring actress was then taken to a local hospital to have her knees put back in place, and was thrilled when she finally got to meet the Skyfall star - despite being on crutches. She tells the Telegraph & Argus newspaper, "She was really lovely. She asked what had happened and said how sorry she was. We chatted for about five minutes. I told her I hoped to go to the same drama school she had attended, and she wished me the best of luck. And I got her autograph!"
