Rocker Pete Wentz has silenced rumours he's preparing to go to war with his ex-wife Ashley Simpson over custody of their young son, insisting the singer is an "awesome" mother. Recent tabloid reports suggested the Fall Out Boy star was considering taking legal action against Simpson to gain primary custody of four-year-old Bronx over allegations about the singer/actress' hard-partying ways. A source told the National Enquirer, "Pete is at his wit's end over Ashlee. He's angry that she hasn't been maintaining Bronx's sleeping schedule... Pete says that if Ashlee doesn't change her partying ways or agree to his custody demands, he'll go to court." However, during an appearance on U.S. talk show Watch What Happens Live on Monday night (15Apr13), Wentz claimed his relationship with Simpson has never been better following their divorce in 2011, when they agreed to joint custody. The bassist, who is now dating model Meagan Camper, said, "I feel like we both realise that we're parents and we're in it for our kid. That's made it really easy... I feel like, as a mum, she's awesome... and we get along really well when it comes to our kid now."
