British singer Dappy is convinced he fell victim to an "evil prank" last weekend (13-14Apr13) after his drink was allegedly spiked during a night out. Photographs of the former N-Dubz star stumbling around a hotel with a mysterious white powder on his nose were published in British tabloid The Sun after guests documented his unusual antics on Sunday morning (14Apr13). The rapper, real name Costadinos Contostavlos, had made an appearance at a nightclub in Weston-super-Mare, England on Saturday night (13Apr13) and returned to the Cadbury House Hotel near Bristol, England in the early hours of Sunday. A statement from Dappy was subsequently released by the star's lawyer. It reads, "After performing on Saturday night, a whole load of mates came back to my hotel. Some girls there were messing about with talcum powder trying to make me look like Tony Montana (a character) from Scarface. What you can see on my face is talcum powder." Dappy has now taken to his Twitter.com page to claim his erratic behaviour was caused by a spiked drink. In a series of posts he writes, "Unfortunately last weekend 4 (for) the first time in my life I was spiked. I can honestly say at one point of the morning I remember loosing (sic) control of my body. After what I experienced, I wouldnt (sic) even wish that upon my worst enemy... Don't believe what The Sun print 2 day (today)...That shh (s**t) on my face is NOT what they're making it out to be. This was an evil prank that simply got taken 2 (too) farrrrrrr (sic)"
