Former Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding has signed up as an ambassador for a scheme to help wounded soldiers. The British singer has teamed up with armed forces charity Haig Housing Trust for its Coming Home campaign, which aims to provide specially adapted houses for injured troops returning from service. She says, "These men and women are doing something amazing. They are risking their lives every day for us, why not give something back? We can put a roof over their heads, help them adapt and lead a normal life, because it must be so difficult and traumatising for them." Harding is also keen to perform for servicemen and women serving abroad in a bid to boost morale. She adds, "I really want to get out there and see it for myself. I love to entertain. I love a good crowd. They may need cheering up. I'm all for it."
