Swedish rockers Crashdiet have paid tribute to their manager after he fell to his death at their gig in Nottingham, England over the weekend (19-21Apr13). Michael Sunden, 45, was found unconscious in the basement of music venue Rock City on Friday night (19Apr13) and he succumbed to his injuries at a nearby hospital. The circumstances of his death are still under investigation, but officials believe it was an accident. A spokeswoman for the Nottingham Police Department says, "He is believed to have slipped and hit his head against a brick wall in the basement area. The medical staff performed CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and he was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead. We are not treating it as suspicious and a file has been prepared for the coroner." Now the group has spoken out about its grief following the tragedy in a Facebook.com post, writing, "As some of you probably know by now, our manager Michael Sunden has tragically passed away. We are currently out on the road and are shocked and devastated about this horrible news! "Michael took this band to new heights that wouldn't be possible without him. He will be missed! Our hearts go out to his wife and kids."
