Actor Jack Huston is set to be honoured at the inaugural Humphrey Bogart Film Festival in Key Largo, Florida next month (May13). The Boardwalk Empire star's grandfather, John Huston, often collaborated with the Casablanca icon and now the actor will receive a special prize at the four-day event in recognition of their longtime partnership on 4 May (13). The trophy, a replica of the falcon statuette from The Maltese Falcon, will be presented by the late legend's son, Stephen Bogart, who tells The Hollywood Reporter, "It is wonderful that Jack Huston will accept the festival award in recognition of the large role John Huston played in the life and career of my father. I can’t think of a better way to kick off an annual festival to honour and promote my father’s legacy than to have the son of Bogie honour the grandson of John Huston." And Jack insists he can't wait to attend the ceremony: "It is a true honour for me to be invited to the Humphrey Bogart Film Festival and to be accepting an award that recognises the incredible work my grandfather and Bogie did together. "I grew up watching these movies in utter awe; they inspired me to become an actor, and I am so very proud to be a part of the Huston family. To be accepting the award from Stephen Bogart makes this all the more special."
