Rolling Stones play surprise show in Los Angeles

Hollywood stars Johnny Depp and Bruce Willis were among the famous faces in the crowd when The Rolling Stones took to the stage for a surprise show in Los Angeles on Saturday night (27Apr13). The British rockers are due to kick off their 50 & Counting North American tour at the Staples Center on 3 May (13), and they thrilled fans by playing an intimate warm-up show in the city. Tickets for the concert at the Echoplex venue, which has a capacity of 700, sold for just $20 (£12.50) each and were allocated to fans via a ballot in the hours before the gig. Hollywood actors Depp and Willis were in the audience, as well as former child stars Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, DJ Skrillex, film mogul Brian Grazer and No Doubt rocker Tony Kanal.
