Ailing The Young And The Restless star Jeanne Cooper has checked back into hospital just days after she was released from a Los Angeles medical centre. The 84-year-old actress, who played Katherine Chancellor on the hit U.S. soap opera for nearly four decades, was admitted to Cedars Sinai Hospital with an unknown illness on 12 April (13), but she was discharged last weekend (27Arp13) after her condition appeared to have improved. However, her son, actor Corbin Bernsen, reveals his mother has now suffered a setback. In a post on his Facebook.com page, he writes, "Mom has been taken back to hospital. Not sure what to pray for at this point or what we even want for her. I know in my heart there is more for her to do in this world, but I also know there is a season for all things. "I want more than anything comfort for her. I want her to have peace. This is that tricky place where you start to weigh all things, not what we need to do, actions to take, but instead open ourselves for enlightenment as to what God has planned for her and ultimately what is best for her." And the actor insists his mum still has plenty of fight left in her, adding, "When your boxer is in the corner, bruised and bloodied from battle and demands to keep going, what do you do? I'm saying my prayers this morning, asking for guidance." "At one point mom 'left the building' - yes, she was gone, only to come back through the front door, kicking and screaming. A Doctor remarked, 'I've been in his (this) situation a thousand times before and have NEVER seen this!' The fighter is out of her corner, amazing us all."
