Former Guns N' Roses drummer Steven Adler has checked into rehab. The rocker has voluntarily sought treatment at an undisclosed medical centre to continue working on his sobriety. His band, Adler, has since postponed over 40 of its upcoming shows while the 48 year old takes time off to conquer his addiction problems. A statement from Adler frontman Jacob Bunton reads, "We are truly sorry to all of the fans and promoters who were looking forward to seeing us on the road, but right now Steven's health is the most important thing. We hope to make it up to everyone when Steven recovers." The rocker has suffered with substance abuse issues for years - he appeared on U.S. TV shows Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew and Celebrity Rehab Presents Sober House after he was arrested in 2008 for heroin possession.
