Former The X-Files star Gillian Anderson's new TV drama The Fall has turned Belfast into an unlikely tourist mecca for the actress' fans. Anderson shot the series in Northern Ireland and fell in love with the country, and now it seems her devotees are flocking there to soak up the scenery, lifestyle and people she has been cooing about in interviews. She tells BlogTalkRadio.com, "We were taking advantage of what the city has to offer (as we filmed), showing Belfast in its finery as a contemporary city. "I'm about to go back for a whole month to shoot Our Robot Overlords with Ben Kingsley and I'm shooting all week and going home on weekends, and The Fall is the same thing. When I was shooting there was a long weekend where I brought all three of my kids out and we had a wonderful time... There's some beautiful places." And she's had a major impact on staff at the Hilton hotel in the city - the room that her character calls home in the drama has become a big hit. She explains, "I received an email from the producer that room 203 of the Hilton in Belfast is now booked up to December of 2014!"
