Singer Brian Mcfadden has vented his frustrations with the millionaire boss of budget Irish airline Ryanair after accusing him of "stealing" money from fellow countrymen by charging extortionate fees to fly. The former Westlife star was booked on a flight from Liverpool, England to head back to Ireland on Thursday morning (30May13), but he was disgusted when staff at the airport check in desk told him he would have to pay $109 (£70) just to print his boarding pass and another $124 (£80) for his heavy luggage. Taking to Twitter.com to single out Ryanair founder Michael O'Leary, he raged, "had so much i wanted to say about my ryanair experience today but ill keep it simple. MICHAEL O LEARY you're a scumbag who exploits... hard working people and tricks them out of their money with your ridiculous loop holes. you are stealing from your own people! "ryanair. i had no access to printer for my boarding pass. cost of them to do it at check in..£70... my golf bag 4kgs over weight....£80". McFadden was so furious with the extra fees, he walked out of the airport and headed straight for the nearest train station. He added, "so instead i got the train from liverpool (to) london to fly with an honest airline. cost more in the end but its the principle of it (sic)."
