Rocker Josh Homme was "physically ill" after supergroup Them Crooked Vultures' last tour because he was suffering exhaustion from back-to-back shows. The band, made up of Homme, Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl and former Led Zeppelin musician John Paul Jones, hit the road in 2009 for two runs of concerts, in North America and the U.K., and went on to play several festivals in 2010. However, Homme, who also fronts Queens of the Stone Age, was left tired out by the touring, and he battled a period of ill health when the gigs ended. He tells Britain's The Sun, "I just never stopped. By the time Them Crooked Vultures started I was already burned out. But how could I say no? Vultures was such a cool thing to do and it temporarily recharged my batteries. But by the last Vultures tour I was exhausted. I was physically ill for a while."
