As I Lay Dying frontman Tim Lambesis has walked free from jail in San Diego, California after posting $2 million (£1.3 million) bail. The heavy metal star was recently charged with one count of solicitation to commit murder and one count of conspiracy to commit a crime after reportedly seeking help from an undercover detective to kill his estranged wife. Lambesis allegedly gave the deputy, posing as a hitman, $1,000 (£645), the address of his wife's home, and the key-code to the front door. Last week (ends24May13), Lambesis' attorney Thomas Warwick claimed his client's thought processes were "devastatingly affected by his steroid use". As part of the bail terms, Lambesis must now wear a GPS monitor and he is subject to strict travel restrictions. He has also been ordered to stay away from his wife and children.
