Actress Liv Tyler tackled a woman at Stella Mccartney's fashion preview in New York City on Monday (10May13) over fears she was filming the event using her futuristic glasses. Tyler was among the A-listers who turned out in support of the designer's Spring 2014 presentation at Jefferson Market Garden in Manhattan, alongside the likes of Madonna, Naomi Watts and Cameron Diaz. However, she was riled when she spotted a guest wearing Google Glass, a head mounted computer display in the form of spectacles, which is currently in development by the Internet giant. According to New York gossip column Page Six, Tyler asked the woman if she was filming the revellers, reportedly saying, "Is that a camera on your glasses? That's scary. Are you filming right now?" The woman denied she was recording the party, and McCartney's public relations chief Stephane Jaspar was forced to step in to clear up the confusion. He explains, "I think it is always better to let someone know first if you are filming if you carry around new technology on your face... and yes, that's why I stepped in. The woman proved friendly and nice... it was just a little bit awkward."
