Country star Sheryl Crow has postponed a concert in Virginia on Thursday (13Jun13) due to extreme weather warnings. The All I Wanna Do hitmaker was booked to perform in Glen Allen, near the city of Richmond, but severe thunderstorms have been forecast for the night of the show, prompting the singer to reschedule the gig for next month (Jul13). Alerting her Twitter.com fans to the date change, she writes, "Due to potential extreme weather in the Richmond area & with safety of the audience in mind, tomorrow's show has been moved to Thurs July 11... "I am so bummed to cancel the Richmond show tomorrow due to potential weather. Please save your tickets for July 11! Can't wait to see y'all (sic)!" All other dates on Crow's tour remain unaffected. Mother Nature has caused a number of concert cancellations in the past week - Kings of Leon's headlining set at the Governors Ball Music Festival in New York last Friday (07Jun13) was rained out and had to be moved to Saturday (08Jun13), while country singer Jake Owen's Sunday (09Jun13) performance at the CMA Festival in Nashville, Tennessee was cut short after just one song due to an approaching storm.
