Terminally-ill actress Valerie Harper has invited U.S. TV cameras into her home to document her brave battle with brain cancer. The former The Mary Tyler Moore Show star announced in March (13) she had just months to live after being diagnosed with the disease, and now she is teaming up with bosses at NBC to air a documentary about her health struggle. The special will follow 73-year-old Harper as she undergoes surgery, attends meetings with doctors, and prepares to say goodbye to her friends and family. A statement from the network reads, "This first-person account captures Harper's raw, emotional and hopeful journey as she goes through experimental treatments and lives each day to the fullest with her husband Tony Cacciotti and their daughter Christina." An air date has not yet been set. The piece will be narrated by American newswoman Meredith Vieira.
