Marcia Gay Harden has added her tribute to those pouring in for James Gandolfini following The Sopranos star's death in Italy on Wednesday (19Jun13). The actress, who appeared onstage with Gandolfini in acclaimed 2009 Broadway hit God Of Carnage, released a statement on Thursday (20Jun13) after learning of the 51 year old's passing following a heart attack in Rome. She writes, "Goodbye to a champion of a man. We are all in shock. He was a great partner, a masterful actor and a loving, generous human being. My prayers go out to his family. He is loved by many and already missed." Meanwhile, rockers Journey have released a collective statement via Twitter.com. The group became synonymous with Gandolfini when its hit Don't Stop Believin' was played over the final scene of The Sopranos in 2007. The band's statement reads: "It's truly an honour to have been able to share one of the greatest moments ever in TV history with James Gandolfini. He was an amazing actor - taken way too young - and he'll be missed. Our condolences go out to his family."
