Liberace's former home in Las Vegas has been put up for sale with a reduced asking price of $529,900 (£342,000). The flamboyant entertainer, recently portrayed by Michael Douglas in Hollywood movie Behind the Candelabra, acquired the property in 1974 but it has since fallen into disrepair and is in need of renovation. The two-bedroom, 10-bathroom house reflects Liberace's outrageous style, boasting large chandeliers, a hallway of mirrors, marble pillars from ancient Greece and a recreation of Michelangelo's iconic Sistine Chapel painting on a bedroom ceiling. The mansion was built in the 1960s and was last purchased for $3.7 million (£2.4 million) in 2006. Dan Humeston, the estate agent overseeing the sale, tells InsideEdition.com, "There will be an array of people that are interested in a Liberace home. Ultimately, I hope it's a fan."
